Gonzalo Fernandez


Gonzalo Fernandez was born in Mendoza, Argentina and moved to the United States as a young child. He grew up in University City, Missouri in a bilingual and bicultural household. He attended St. Louis Priory High School, Boston College and then returned home to St. Louis where he got his J.D. and an M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis in 1989.

James P. Leonard was born and raised in St. Louis. He attended St. Louis Priory High School and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Notre Dame. He returned home to St. Louis for law school, graduating from Washington University School of Law in 1981. He and his wife, Donna, have been married more than 25 years and have four children.

Michael Stokes

Mr. Stokes began practicing law in St. Louis in 1971 after graduating from St. Louis University School of Law. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University Of Notre Dame. He is married to Patricia Wendling-Stokes, an attorney with the City of St. Louis. They have lived in the Central West End of the city for thirty years.

Originally from California, Kim was the daughter of an Air Force pilot and moved around the country until graduating from High School in Trenton, Illinois. Upon graduation, she took her first job at the age of 18 with the law firm of Devereaux & Stokes.

Kelsy Simon Vollmer


Kelsy earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. While in college, Kelsy spent her summers as a legal assistant for Devereaux, Stokes, Fernandez & Leonard, P.C.
